  1. The Case SP forager. The colour on the NH version doesn't look quite right. The 8x30T's look good. Playablity is much improved over the models from the ninties, where wheels, fenders etc fell of without abuse. The small tractors don't look right and the JD mower is too big I think (correct me if I'm wrong) Toy Farmer Oliver is another fine model in that line but I will not include it in the "toys" as the "shelf" addition risks to be a disappointment if I compare the toy farmer 7020 JD and the shelf edition. A question for you Bill, will other versions of the JD 4020's becoming soon?
  2. I think two people here could write a book on byproduct injection :) :): :) MJB1 I can see you prefer german rigidity to gallic charm, no sense of romance !!!!!
  3. [glow=red,2,300] Reading the fw today and the new jcb 8250 sounds a nice bit of kit to have on the farm ,wonder how britains will revamp the curent model[/glow] Badly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The previous attempts at a fastrac were done with artistic licence, using the same base for an 8250 should result in a court case in my opinion.
  4. this O&K might be suitable on the clamp operating weight 980 tonnes engine power 3280kW Bucket payload 85 tonnes
  5. Bl**dy typical this, for years people have been complaining about wanting bigger kit, big ploughs, drills etc and combines with realistic wide headers, now they're arriving the complaints start rolling about needing smaller kit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will you never be happy??????????? Also a Lexion 600 with an 8foot6 header would result in crop being flattened
  6. that's a Kibri model, not a conversion and in 1/87 scale www.kibri.de
  7. mjb1 wrote ] i think this bloke at henstridge used to have something to do with BUGLERS at Beaminster so could get good deals on the tractors ,will try to see if he's still doing it http://www.agro-industry.net/co.asp?code=&name=C%20J%20Day%20and%20Sons%20Western They would buy tractors offered from many dealers, including Gibbs, and often the dealer gets a value from them before offering the owner the trade in price. That way the dealer is not left out of pocket on the deal. Real shame to see those tractors being butchered, but the buyers don't want cabs/rollbars etc. Remember roll bars/Q cabs etc are for the safety of the operator not to make the tractor perform better.
  8. I have a photo somewhere, but it so blurred you can just see the colour of the tractor but I have found these at machinefinder, looks like they were sold in Eastern Europe, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, South africa and some other countries of similar stature. I think it was Deere that wanted a cheap tractor to sell in countries where their existing tractors were too expensive for the locals to buy (and the locals to thick to understand they were buying a Zetor and not a Deere) oh marketing is everything
  9. The 3400 came with the green/yellow twin axle grain trailer. Bit basic in comparison with todays offerings, but something a bit different, ok it's still green! G&M have the two sets listed for sale. Not sure but I thought there was a 3200 also? Anybody have any info? In real life I've seen a few around, only ever on livestock or Veg duties though. I read somewhere that in Holland buyers would look at them and then buy a real Deere but sales in Germany and France weren't bad. John Deere didn't produce green Zetors, it was Zetor that produced Green Zetors badged John Deere Not sure which countries they were sold in, seen one in Chec Republic.
  10. It's not really an alternative as it does not do any subsoiling. So it's more of a one pass suface cultivator, having said that I've got one running on a NH 9880. Have a look at the Amazone website for horsepower needs but the NH pulls it easy. I have been thinking of hitching it up too an MF 135 as with the price of deisel so high I figured it would result in cheaper running costs click on the photo for full size picture
  11. PDC Yes it is an MC115 :D She might be out working hard later on today, so I'll try and take some photos then, in the meantime I'll post another below from yesterday The first picture I posted in the thread was via Yahoo photos so maybe if anyone can see the picture it is because they are registered to yahoo?
  12. great it seems to have worked, click on thumbnail for full size picture
  13. Been out with the new sprayer and tractor drowning slugs today.
  14. CNH don't sell Steyr in the UK as it's not as profitable as concentrating on CIH and NH, nothing to do with Europena competition commision, that was concerning the CIH Doncaster tractor plant and Italian Laverda combine factory. US trade commision forced the sale of Versatile tractor factory. Steyr tractors are badged as CIH CS and CVX tractors and NH TVT models. New Steyrs are available from Tunstall tractors, http://www.tunstalltractors.com Steyr also build some of the same models as Basildon.

re ag-bag, look here: www.ag-bag.com/ cost depends if you have an existing clamp, maybe you want extra silage for just one year or a few and the cost of building a clamp is too high for short use time. Round bales might be too slow and all that wrap to get rid of. Just some of the reasons.
  16. In the first picture the trailer on the left seems to be a twin axle conversion, is this right and if so can we have some close up's of it, looks good.
  17. the two cabs pictured are the same except for the roof, the UH version is the low profile cab, used where height in buildings is a problem. Popular variation in Europe that with all the manufacturers making low roff versions of their tractors. Sometimes it's just the roof sometimes the entire cab is lower. I think you'll find the XTX cab does not have B-posts, ie the doors go from front to back of the cab like NH TSA's etc.
  18. Anyone wanting a precision MF 1200 should get the one from Brian Norman, a stunning model worth every penny.
  19. wheeled deere 9620 or 9630 by the time it is to be released and a Case quadtrac could be nice. I don't think the colour will be anything but red or green, right bill?? A precision combine would be very nice but I don't think it will happen, pity. Or how's about a precision 4920 sprayer, could be supplied in either sprayer or dry fertilizer forms. Or how about a precision cotton picker, that would be something different.
