  1. this is some maize pile: http://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=69321&mid=490329#M490329
  2. WOW 24 years old, cab cladding and interior immaculate, no rot in the doors and even the paint work is perfect, a real credit to it's drivers.
  3. very nice work, any more pics of the 10 series II tractor?
  4. come on Murray, lets see them.
  5. I hope he's charging by the hour to harvest in conditions like that.
  6. great to see pics from all corners of the world. Keep them coming. That big Deutz is a rare machine, it would be nice to know how many were built in green, plus Same orange, Lamborghini white and MF red. Was there ever a Hurlimann version?
  7. nice model that. Now you need to do one with the integral cab.
  8. great improvement there. Was the 2654 ever sold in the UK?
  9. That hinged side window was of no use what so ever, the sliding window at least let some air into the cab. Didn't knock one door, but I did know one chap that caught the water trough, same result as a telegraph pole! 300 series were the machines to operate with the doors open. 500 series blowers, ahh yes those that forced warm dusty air into yer face, great idea! Yep, wireless mounted on the top of the dash with a single speaker above it, Saturday mornings were best with snooker on the radio and the proposal of decimal time, good old D.L.T. Listening to the the entire Friday Rock show meant bad weather arriving and lunch times mean't no radio since silence was better than that bl***y oohhh gary davies ooohhhh gary davies on your radio. Now he did make me sick and I'm even now feeling bad.
  10. Agree with most you say MJB1 BUT did anyone ever manage to stay in the Sauna of a fully closed 500 series cab baling in August??
  11. no problem Jack, I can wait and look forward to seeing the pics.
  12. stehos could you post some pics of your Roadless and thanks for the info.
  13. ooppps, yes I am referring to the 285, think I may have partly answered my own question
  14. anybody got any more info on the Roadless with Lambourne Q cab.
  15. Great pics Have you got any details on thzt unique 485, is it an official test machine or is it a home made machine???
  16. 1004T was discussed here: http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=22120.0
  17. Didn't that 1004T get discussed here some months ago???
  18. Claas swather was produced in the early nineties and maybe late eighties.
  19. Thats a standard 698 with after market turbo fitted. The official 698 with turbo was called a 698T. A fine example of an eighties icon.
  20. The heritage did not end with the 600 series, it continued with the 200, 300, 4200 and 4300 series, all the way to the closure of Banner Lane.
  21. 500 series were a big leap forward from the 100 series in terms of cab comfort but just look at that chap in the 100 series rigid cab, pure luxury for him Cab comfort and ease of use are just subjective to the time. Who today would think of a flexi cab as deluxe and two speed clutchless shift, who need's more in a gearvox!
  22. Consigned to a slow death, rotting in sh*t. Poor thing will never know what it is to be loved and cherished! But then again she knows she's a working girl and is indispensable 365 days of the year, unlike certain ladies who are shut in a darkened garage 364 days of the year and when they are let out it's just for a quick spin up the road and back
  23. yep, a brilliant idea but went the way of Betamax and many other great ideas. Only down side was you couldn't go down the road with four on the foks like you could 500kg big bags!
  24. Great pics. 1056 2wd, what a nice looking tractor. Whats it's history?
