  1. as a reply to the previous welcome comment - here is a more detailed look at the "converted" driver (now with coloured eyes and brows, lips, an improved hair-cut, blue shirt, green trousers and black boots (before a was closed completely in black with a face like a monkey ...), a real womanizer for real play-boys ;-)
  2. Could not stand suffering from the annoying sight of the "bare metall" (see some postings above) MF 3680 on my farm. Therfore, I gave it some minor improvements (minor due to lack of time and money), mostly including some more realistic colour settings, lights, number plates, a black steering wheel and even a better look for the driver. Here are the results:
  3. Hello, I am planning to make some row crop equipment on my own as some needed items are not available on the market or the current price is beyond my budget (e. g. certain scratch-built beet harvesters ;-)) My question now is: I understand how to make a copy of a existing part, but how can I create a exact and detailed form for putting the liquid resin in without any existing original example; especially parts which are multi-dimesional e .g. for making blades of a row cultivator? In this case I might have a self made drawing or a picture but how to make a form of these? And which type of glue (?) to use for connecting these items? Sorry, these questions might sound ridiculous to some, but I am still in the beginnings as I just can not wait until Britains, Siku or Uh MIGHT finally make nice row-crop equipment in a few years.
  4. According to the pictures this is one of the rare cases where a (Britains) modell looks much better than the original item ;-)
  5. One of the four Fendt Tractors of the largest farm in our vincity (some 1.000 hectars, that's almost US style ...) - this is the smallest one, doing some shreddering work and thereby killing some mouses and other small animals (a rather painful sight, beeing rather sensitive ...). Nevertheless, here are some for photogenic results:
  6. And a view from the side, pay also attention to the back-mounted implement for soiling the earth behind the wheels ... Anybody interesting in making and seeling a modell of these implements? Might look great on the new old Britains Fords (I like row crop farming ...)
  7. turning, (and bringing back memories, I did not see such a thing since more than a decade, but I remember sitting on an old Ford 5000 with front loader and the same kind of equipent, when I was 4 or 5, some 30 years ago ?)
  8. This is what I saw yesterday evening while touring in my home region "Lower Rhine Area" near the Netherlands Border. (See also this forum's section my Toy Farm/Britains Farming German style (off topic: hope German members are welcome in spite of our last century's history - sorry for that ??)): Row cultivator mounted on a front loader working on a "bloody Kraut" field in its true sense ;-) ... I can provide more pictures from us if there is any interest ...
