Deere-est
Hanging basket liner, it's far cheaper!! http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=22214.msg440326#msg440326 The brighter green mat was a bargain at Lidl, the rest is hanging basket liner and the heaped silage is hanging basket moss, dried and put through a food blender

CMB
I decided to order some synthetic grass samples from Ebay. Most were about 3cm high and the blades were too thick. I cut two samples to about 2cm (the right height for 1:32 I think). This type is called "Lawn Green":
CMB
Okay I liked the variation and 'dead grass' in the next sample, not sure how suitable it is. "3 Tone Green and Beige": Opinions please; colour ok, material?

CMB
I got 6 samples for 3.20 on ebay, but on their site http://www.asgoodasgrass.co.uk its quite pricey. The first one I showed they call 'Home Plus' and on their website is £30.50 per sq metre. The other one (3 tone/beige) they call Deseo which is 26.50/sq metre. I didn't ask what was the smallest cut they did.
Deere-est
Great, both of them. First one for a ley, second one for a pasture. How did you cut them?
