Nicks maybe you can tell me, why when there is no sleeper cab are the chassis so long on the trucks? Seems like a ridiculous length of truck when there is so much dead space between the cab and the trailer causing wind drag  ???

Although, it's a mean looking rig and a hell of a trailer, what is she 52ft? Tag axle I see too, that can't be too common?  8) 8)

Tris  the truck used to have a sleeper but it was taken off  at the dealer makes the tractor about 1000lb lighter

wind drag dont mean cr@p here mate alls that  counts is it looks cool

50ft trailer a lot of lift tags on ripple axles here saves on tire wear

Don't think they are anywhere in the USA compared to the conventionals, Ol. Although Frieghtliners Argosy proved a big hit in Aus and NZ it's production in the USA as far as I know has ceased.

Sweet 379!!!!!!

Too help answer part of Deere-est's Q, here in the states a longer wheel base truck also has better ride. We also dont have the length laws like Europe does.......here in the states we also have a thing bout if its a long wheel base truck.........its much cooler!  :P

Here is a good example of a show truck here in the states, Peterbilt 379......
