Hey Sean, that's a great shed you've made. I see the start of a great yard, if the rest of your creations mimic your work in this shed. . . . . It'll be great 8)

as tris said , i think this is going to be another great topic  ;)

Thanks guys! All of my buildings are kind of a work n' progress......I want my display to be done in 2-3 months, in time for harvest. Well, mostly done at least.....the equipment will be just stuff off the shelf, eventually it will all be customized and detailed. Same with the trucks. Since the display will have a large operation going on we will have around 10+ trucks.

More, these are of my layout.......my seed house with 2 loading docks and a garage door. I have a DCP KW W900L and Ertl Pete 387 hooked up to 53' trailers. The farm will have their own trucks to haul seed and what not, they will be US COEs w. modern US 40' reefer.

Hey everyone, here is my grain stoargae plans. US style storage system. Im not sure what you guys have over there for your grain storage, so this might seam weird, "laugh out loud" :)

Sean

blimey chap , we still bagging 100cwt hessian bags from our theshers , but aparently there's a thresher that moves on it's own called a combined harvester coming out soon  :D :D

what you have on most big grain farms , we have but on smaller scale & much of our farm storage is in sheds with the crop tipped on the floor , the only real big scale operation like you have drawn we only get to see from the buyers / farmers co-opratives

Hey everyone, started on the soybean field tonight.

First off, added the grass, eventually it will be mostly all tall grass/brush when it is all done.

Then, add the dirt, simple, just put it on and spread it out, ha ha!!

Then, for a "weed" affect, I mixed some foam grass with dirt and spread it on the field........

  • 1 month later...

Time to start chopping corn  8-) We ended up using the 1370 instead of the White because the spindles stuck out too far on the White  >:( O well, so we ended up using the White to pull the wagons back and forth to the farm because it is faster than the Oliver.....so far nothing has broken and I think we will have good stuff to say on the NH chopper. BTW, painted and put in the corn tonight, still no where near finished though, what do you guys think?? I may have to take em out and hit em with another coat of green.....also, we got some tall corn this year!  :D

1370 on the chopper.
