britainstoys.nl
Rainbow toys box no. 3/24 The animals in the box are all Britains. Can it be a sort off B merk from britains. Is this the onley rainbow toys box or are there more?
super6
The only reference, Britains Civilian Toy Figures by Norman Joplin (and 3 others), to this that I can find relates to Rainbow Toys being a trade name used by Britains for second grade or "S" series figures issued post war. I think second grade relates to a limited paint colour scheme, but do not quote me . The only S series leaflets I have, S & P Crown and New Crown range to be strictly accurate, all relate to Cowboys and Indians and Soldiers, but the box artwork suggests animals were available, be they farm, as your set proves, or zoo There are other boxes/artwork from/for this S series range without the Rainbow Toys legend. What do you mean by B merk?
