Hi Paul, maxxum is clipped really tight in to the chassis at back(just in front of rear linkage) and I think in to the bonnet/engine section too,get the wheels off first ,I found the best way was to run a junior hacksaw blade between the foorpan and chassis so you end up cutting the cips off as you won't need them if for a convo,and then saw down between dashboard and engine to cut the front one.

I took apart the t7060 but the puma should be the same,get the wheels off then you will see its held on by a rivet at the back,all I did was drill the head of the rivet out and job done I think on that.
