Peter Small confirmed yesterday Sunday the 24th of October sees Graham Hill's annual working day of Nuffield and Leyland tractors taking place at Airlie near Kirriemuir.

Graham did tell me when the date was at Scone Palace but I had forgotten. This date clashes with the Scottish Championships at Jedburgh but really Airlie is a fun working day and Jedburgh is for the master ploughers.

Assuming the weather is fine I plan going down to Airlie for the third consecutive year.

Due to the wetness of the fields this event has been cancelled for tomorrow.

Assuming the filed's are not plough it could take place on a Sunday after Newark which is on the weekend of 13/14 of November 2010 if I'm correct :-\ :-\

That leaves either Sunday 21st November or 28th November 2010.

I do hope it turns out to be the 28th if it goes ahead since the Sunday before is the Lakeland Show at Penrith.
