powerrabbit Posted December 24, 2010 Share Posted December 24, 2010 You can get carpet shears which look like an over-sized pair of sisccors that have handles higher than the blades, like a smaller version of garden shears. Tractorman810 Posted December 24, 2010 Share Posted December 24, 2010 hair shears wont work, the bristles are to thick ,just blocks up the knifes and busts them sicors dont work either, as the bristles are way to close together to get a good cut, have tried all sorts of ways since i did mine ?? years back, and by far and away the easiest option is 2 mats, one short for the cut stubble underlayer, then another on top for the un cut crop,just build the edge of the field up to hide the edge of the lower bit,look in the ash tree farm topic for pics Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
