DBP's MF 390 measurements

An Interested Spectator

Question

I am after a favour from someone who owns one of DPB's MF 390's.

I was wondering if someone could give me the rough measurements of the model, total height, width (outside wheel to outside wheel) and total length. Why ? I have all the bits to make a conversion one of my own, but i am not sure which chassis, size wise, to use. I also know DPB will have got his measurements right.

And to answer the obvious question...a large wife will rolling pin prevents me from buying a DBP original. There a shade more than I can justify these days.

Cheers

Adie

Going to try this another way.

Found a site on the web that gives MF 390 diamentions as

Length 152"

Width 77"

Height 101"

My calculator tells me this is

Length 3,860.8mm

Width 1,955.8mm

Height 2,565.4mm

Divided by 32 giving

Length 120.65mm

Width 62.3mm

Height 80.1mm

This is as near as dam it the same size as Britains 6140 chassis. Now this always seemed a bit big for a 390 to me.

Can anyone confirm or otherwise any of these figures, or suggest a more accurate starting point for a 390 convo.

Cheers in advance

Adie
