MJB1
got the bogballe but i liked the amazone better ,but i only had the siku trailed version . pic 1 ; took 1 trimmer made years ago with linkage from a 2 drum mower 2 churns ,new-ray digger arm ,lego & copious amounts of yellow paint & a siku trailed spreader pic 2 ; drilled out the rivets from the trailed machine & tore the trimmer apart
MJB1
pic 3 ; took the belt drive off the linkage & filed down excess metal & drilled holes for the locating pins pic 4 ; slot into place will use super glue when doing this

NewHolland2
Nice conversion there Marcus...... :) Didn't look like it was too hard to achieve...... I've got both the trailed and mounted Siku Amazone versions - the trailed one deals with the NPK spreading before tattie plating but the mounted one has been "done up" to a Grimme GL32B Tattie Planter, with my usual paper and Blu-Tac fixes...... MJB1
i was well chuffed, as there wern't any to be bought back then. i supose the spearhead was the first trimmer to be widely available ,not counting the very old dinky model for the 165.
