Shed sizes

JEP

Question

Perhaps a stupid question.... but is there a standard UK bay size? I always thought standard bays (i.e in machinery sheds etc) were 15ft x 30ft, so a 6 bay shed would be 90ft wide, by 30 ft deep, (obviously you could build a shed any size you want) but as a general size - am I correct in this thinking, or do bay widths/lengths vary?

PS - I want to build a 1:32 shed  ;)

go with Tris for ease, i made mine up using similar sizes., they were around 6500mm so 190mm in 1:32 world.....then tweaked to make it easier to clad with the width of the plastic sheets!!....less cutting! ;D

in general, these days you can have what ever you want, all comes down to design and cost.
