Pete
I'm lookin forward to startin, just need to sort a tray to put all the parts on while i'm workin on them... there actually a few around here still use them.

Pete
Well i'm startin... was abit unsure on the method off mixing as it says to rivet the joints using the brass pins supplied, basically push them through the hole, cut a fraction longer and squeeze togeather with pliers.. It worked well. first picture.. will up date later
Pete
The 8' roll laid togeather, clevis and drawbar riveted togeather.. 2nd picture shows most off frame togeather
Pete
As i intend to use these on my diorama i'm abit unsure on the colour to use, i have a small modern day farm so these rollers will be 30 odd years old and would saw lots off sign of years of hard work but one off the farms in the next village has just given theres a repaint so they look tidy.... So rustey or painted?
Deere-est
Baking tray is a good idea to stop bits getting lost, Pete

Barry
Looking good, have you chosen a colour yet? What makes of these rolls would have been available, and what colour would they have been? Think we had light blue ones on our farm when i was young.

Only make i know is WREKIN but i'm sure there another couple just carnt remember. I remember a blue set on the farm near me and have seen a yellow set as well. The farm in next village use a yellow set but i'm not sure if they have been tarted up with new holland paint. I'm thinkin of doing mine rust coloured as they will be 30 odd years old and spend life outside and lead a poor quality of life..
Pete
looking good pete, looks a reasonably easy build so far Thanks sean, highly recommend these, the 8' section took a while but the 4' pair took hardly any time at all.
