david_scrivener
The first of our 1:32 scale animals (all designed by an ex-Britains sculptor): On a slightly more serious note, does your 'ex-Britains sculptor' have any interesting info, perhaps even drawings, of Britains models which were proposed, but never made it through to production? Some of the reference books (notably Barney Brown's book on the plastic zoo range) have such drawings, all very interesting to us Britains addicts to ponder 'what might have been'. You lot never fail to make me smile ;D Yes, they're on the plan for next year, Pete, but for this year I have a set of 5 x Border Collies (the prototypes should be arriving this week), and then it'll be pheasants for the New Year. I haven't actually met him, David, as this work was commissioned on my behalf by my regular figure sculptor, Dave Love of Mountford Miniatures. But, I'll see what I can find out

Leakeyvale
Those cats are brilliant - pity you did not have them when I did the last MF article as they would have been ideal for comparison with the "comic" cats I think a set is in order for Leakey Vale
