I was talking to a chap the other night and he was telling me how he was making corrugated iron sheets and making them look rusty and weathered. Maybe some of you know how to do this already but I was quite interested in how he had done it. Anyway first of all he made two moulds or formers from plastic card. Round rods glued side by side on a sheet but he is considering making ones in brass. For the iron kitchen tin foil is too thin but the tin foil cartons from chinese takeaways etc is thicker and better. To get the rusty weather effect before painting simply sandpaper the tin foil before pressing out the sheet between the two formers. Holes can be added to the sheet with a pin.
All sounds very simple but I won't be going into production.
