Manor Farm
Just wondering what the best cb radio is for around 50 to 60 to pounds. Plus does any one have any for sale? Thanks Tim
Deere-est
Midland are pretty good for a new one, Tim. Although if you go second hand, Rotel are a good oldie to get. These people are super helpful: http://www.kcb.co.uk/

WillTEF20
We bought 4 cheap ones a few years ago for about 40 quid, they have been brilliant better than the thunder pole which cost about 90 that we have in one of our tractors!! I'll get the name of them Tim for you ;D
Tommy Gough
I would agree with Tris and go for a midland. We have 3 and have no trouble with them. Although with some newer tractors, there have been a few problems with the picking up of people talking. I know with the NH T7000 series this was a awkward problem to get around, something to do with other electrical signals being given off by the tractor computer, so watch out. Deere-est
Was just hearing the same thing last week, Tommy. the T7030 and T6090 at work do not receive half as well as the older TM's do. With all the interference they get you have to have the squelch turned right up.
Tommy Gough
When my uncle was driving a T7030 he said it was worse with the engine revving. If he heard someone he had to ease of the throttle to see if they were talking to him.
8feetmower
I would agree with the Midland supporters.4 of them here & no problems. The only thing is if they are wired in through the ignition they automatically go to ch9 which can be annoying if you're stopping & starting a lot.
