axeman2
Hi All Fairly new to this posting lark. These are some pics of the dairy farm that I am building at the moment. It is a 60 cow rotary parlour with collecting yard, and a cubicle shed that will hold 300 cows. Hope you like them. I will keep posting pictures as the construction goes along. axeman2
Hi Graham. Its based on a greenoak dairy system. Found a plan of a layout on google images, and managed to work out measurements from it.
Lady Ferguson
Now I know why you needed two coolers, Hefin! Absolute mammoth job of that diary system. Your shed building looks very precise - are you in the carpentry trade? This is going to be a really interesting project to watch indeed. Thanks for sharing it with us
axeman2
Hi Mandy. No i'm not in the carpentry trade, I drive a forwader in the forest industry. Although i have trained as an architectural technician years ago. I enjoy working with wood more than anything.
Deere-est
That is going to be some size building, it's the layout/buildings side of the hobby I like the most I think so seeing a new farm starting up is right up my street. Love it so far, look forward to seeing plenty more

axeman2
Managed to get some done to the cubicle shed. This section is one half of the shed, which has been put on a 4' by 4' base. Installed the base for the cubicles and the walls at the end, also painted the base. Have also added the cubicles. One end wall has been put together and the cladding cut and test fitted. axeman2
I've got no idea yet graham, but the cubicle shed covers a 8 x 4 sheet of ply, while the parlour is on approx 6 x 3 sheet of ply.
