Hywel
Hello fellow members Though I'd start a topic with the few but (in my opinion) quality models that I have. I am hoping to expand my collection in the future Currently I have some scratch built models on order, looking forward to sharing them with you when hey arrive! Here is the flagship of the collection. Case Puma 230 with RPM low loader (both UH) and a SlurryKat pumping kit. Here is the second model that features in my first post. The New Holland T7.210 mounted with Kuhn butterfly drum mowers. Although I do like the look of the mowers I do wish to change them in the future with either scratch built ones or future release ones due to the fact they are drum mowers. If some decent triple disc mowers were to be released I would buy them today (any suggestions?) Thanks guys, more o come

Hywel
FULL SHELF COLLECTION! Here is a big picture of the displayed collection...and a plane Note i do have a few other models, but the ones are my favourites and probably the only ones worth sharing on here. Here is my pride and joy, the Puma 230 hitched to the RPM low loader. Loaded are the spreadbar, pump, rear realer and mounted in the front links is another smaller realer. Fendt 936 and Tandem axle Joskin trailer both made by Siku. These arn't you ordinary models though, they are infact remote control!! They operate via infrared. I used to 'play' about with this set up but now it is just on display. These things are pricey, I probably wouldn't buy another remote control model, although having just the one is nice Here we have the new rig, the T7.210 pulling the mighty BB9090. The baler is new (today) but I have had the tractor since Christmas My girlfriend kindly gave me this model and it was infact my first ever UH model Also seen here are two ploughs, both 3 furrow but the longer one is reversible. I am not sure of there make of manufacture but all I know is that I bought them when I was about 6 years old..so that's nice Next is a group that sit snug together (yes, I need more shelves) Siku John Deere 6210r with Kuhn front and back disc mowers, a nice set up for the very cheap price. Along with the Deere sits the new (received today) MF 6475 made by UH. This is a cracking model and will soon be pulling a new custom made and on order Smyth FieldMaster Trailer Note the opening door, a nice feature. Now this set up is very special to me! Why? Because I received these Siku goods on my 4th Birthday when on holiday in Ireland. This is what started my love of farming and model collecting. As a result I know am a member of FTF, relief milk on 3 different farms, where Dr. Martens dealer boots and am heading to Harper Adams next year..WOW! The model is a MF 4270 with a Kvernleand wrapper and 2 bales that came with it, one on which I have wrapped One of my most treasured models, the Siku John Deere 6920. This is the second (or third) model I acquired and was purchased as a local butchers. Throughout it's life it has cultivated, pulled a forage wagon, ploughed, hauled a tri axle artic trailer...but now sits on the shelf This is probably my favorite tractor, the 74... Mounted with Kuhn drum mowers she is a fine outfit, just wish they were disc mowers! Now this is where I believe my collection gets impressive, i own one of these! It may not seem much to you but as it is an obsolete item and probably one of the best harvesters of all time it has to have a shout out This 900 was purchased on ebay 2 months ago from France for a mere £46. What a bargain. I did wait ages for it to be delivered but the wait was worth it. Next to go on is a PU 300 or 380 header which I hope to have ordered from modelfarmer.co.uk soon! The last item on my shelf it the big mower. This beast is highly detailed and comes at a reasonable price for the model that you get. The sides open up and reveal engine parts etc. The only thing I dislike about it is the fact the the front mower can not be held in an elevated position e.g. for transport. So that is it, the slowly growing collection. Thanks for stopping by! Hywel
altrac
Very nice collection there! You say you're going to harper adams for agri engineering? Would have liked to do that course myself if it wasn't for the fees, we get them paid here in Scotland!

Would have liked to do that course myself if it wasn't for the fees, we get them paid here in Scotland! Yes fees are expensive, especially if you are from England...not sure about Ireland. Here in Wales the welsh assembly government pay for £5425 out of the £9000 tuition fee...luckily that still applys for if you wish to study anywhere in the UK not just Wales. Also we can get maintenance loan grants or partial grants depending on household income, and also loans regarding uni that arn't repayable till after earning £21000/year

Someone told me the other day that if you go to study agri engineering or a similar subject like that which no uni offers in Scotland (where I am) then the scottish government pay your fees. If only I'd known that 2 or 3 years ago when I was looking at unis to go to!
