BC
The next show I will be attending and exhibiting at will be the Angus Show at Brechin. This is a fairly large agricultural show and in addition to the vintage section there is usually a truck show as well. Looking at the weather forecast it showing quite a lot of rain for Friday but dry on the main show day. http://www.theangusshow.com/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/dd9
BC
I went to the show yesterday but without and exhibit and how glad I was I did not take it to get wet and dirty. I arrived around 7.30 and it was a tad wet underfoot after all the rain on Friday and it came back on about 10am so by 11am I had seen enough and was homeward bound. Pictures from yesterday's tour of the show. Stretch and a Rover 3.5 V 8 fitted but did not hear it running.

BC
Nicol's Scania is still looking good for being 7 1/2 years old but I wonder if the new driver will spend as many hours on her as the first one did. Just notice it has had a new plate added and Derek has added a "Dash of Dorice" to it....Volvo FH16 "750 Shults" - Cabrach Community Radio - "Wecht" sing along back o the bus Only noticed small thistles have been laser cut from the stainless around the stacks. BC
This 5000 and Howard round baler were new to the same farm and the original purchase invoices were on display. The 1973 5000 cost in the region of £ 2,300 bit it was getting too wet to get photos. The baler was used on the farm for 20 years. Another tractor from the late George Mutch's sale which was bought for £7k + and certainly not worth that kind of money in my opinion. Well that's it from me from a rather damp 2014 Angus show and I suspect they failed to attract the crowds yesterday afternoon.
