Thomson rally will be held on Sunday 29th June 2014 at Mineralwell Park in Stonehaven which is only around 15 miles from me.The rally was first held in 1967 to honour R.W Thomson (1822 -1873) from Stonehaven the inventor of the pneumatic tyre in 1845. BC Posted June 30, 2014 Author Share Posted June 30, 2014 I never got loaded up on the Saturday afternoon or evening because of rain but when I got up on the Sunday morning it looked fair and the forecast was better. However at 7am I did not think my neighbour's would appreciate being woken by the noise of a tractor starting at that time on a Sunday morning so I headed to Stonehaven as a spectator.
