How to paint window rubbers

I am looking for the best way to paint window rubbers I have had go with some fine masking tape but still get a little bit of a bleed when peeling back the tape. Could any one tell me a goof way to do this

If you have a bead around the frame, then a hard rubber ink stamp using black humbrol paint gives the best results I have found. Leave the paint on the stamp for around a minute before stamping to allow the paint to dry a bit. You do not get any bleed but you have to be careful. The hardness of the rubber and the pressure you use are the key.
