Tractordave
Saw this on Ebay - can anyone tell me the Britains model number? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Britains-Fordson-super-major-farm-toy-/161691361093?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item25a58e5f45 I asked the seller about it ,and he said "sorry i cant find the model number. Yes its britains. I bought it 10years ago off of a model expert. I bought it in the box its sitting on."
autoway
This looks to be a conversion or a white metal copy of a Britains ddn as it has the wrong wheels, they don't have exhaust
Tractordave
That's what I thought Dan - a modified Britains Super Major (9525 or 9526) with Scaledown Models wheels and exhaust conversion
NIGEL FORD
Yes someone's put our SCALEdown wheels on (some time ago as 8 stud rear wheels are wrong -my predecessor wasn't aware!) the front wheels are also inside out and the exhaust is an earlier Diesel Major not even a Super!.... the original downswept exhaust is incorporated in the casting. Otherwise it'd be a 172F/9525
NIGEL FORD
Looking again... it would appear the downswept exhaust has been ground off, and the air intake is not from us - wrong profile/shape for any of our100+ models!
powerrabbit
Not much of a description but totally inaccurate, it's not new and it's not 1:26 scale, perhaps someone should enlighten him.
