Had a spray can of marine blue turn up so a Landrover will get the treatment at weekend, always fancied doing one in that colour. Do you drill the rivet out & replace with a self tapper? Yes I would say that's a good way of doing it, most of the ones I've done have a screw instead of a rivet which makes it a lot easier, I think they were the slightly later ones.
