Has anyone ever travelled to Chartres?

Looking at going this year but the info available online is scant enough.

I went last year.

Flew into Paris and got the train to Chartres.

I stayed in a hotel on the outskirts of the town, it was a 20-minute walk to the venue and another 20-minute walk into the town (I enjoy walking!)

I've not seen the date for this year's show yet.

Is it worth going to?

I have been in the past and would say it is one of the best shows I have been to for Diorama and custom build models.  They have 1000's of people each year.

I believe the show is the first Sunday in June every.  I will potentially be going this year.

Yes, Chartres is a nice little town too!

The show was packed, with lots to see, I walked around 4 times and kept seeing new things.

Lots to purchase with some bargains to be had.

Well worth a visit.
