james f
After much head scratching and advice from forum members, I have succeeded in uploading a selection of photos from the vintage rally at the Harrow, Ferns that I was at a few weeks ago. The pictures can be found in my gallery here: http://www.farmtoysforum.com/gallery/index.php?cat=10022 The more interesting ones are commented but if ye want to ask any questions, fire ahead! JC
Nice pics James. Why were the tractors not running?? Seems like a pointless excercise trying to sell them like that unless they were "non runners" \
james f
Beats me \. Theres no way you could asess the condition of a tractor without running it, maybe even doing a bit of work with it.
nashmach
The threshing drum was at the ploughing match in Adamstown last Sunday - it was made about 100 years ago by a firm in Enniscorthy. The man who owns the 780 Special came to us a few weeks ago for spares but sadly he didn't buy anything. The auction format was very surprising and probably accounts for the poor interest in this stuff on the day
