Cab glass for an NH TJ

CX820Joe

Question

Hi All,

Does anyone have any tips for glazing the cab of a New Holland TJ 4x4?  I thought perhaps the glass out of the Precision STX would work but I doubt it'd be possible to get hold of a spare bit of it, unless ERTL might do it - any suggestions?

Cheers

Joe

Hows about cutting your own from a thin sheet of perspex or acrylic cut with a stanley. My school has a fine line of clear acrylic if ya want any.  :-\

Sorry for late reply - that might be worth trying - I recall trying to glaze the cab of the old Siku Lexion with acetate, and the results were appalling!!  Suppose I need to measure the cab somehow, work out the right curvature for the glazing...

Thanks both for the replies; I need to have a good look at the cab as it is (now I've had the model!) and work out how best to do it, if it is possible at all - doesn't look like it will be an easy task for a duffer like me!
