Andy
Dad picked this up, and we are struggling to find an precise brand for it It has Crescent England engraved into rear wheel, but have not seen anything like it before. Could be a transition model?

powerrabbit
It is obviously a 'motorised' tractor and is probably made after 1947 as this is when the name 'Crescent' was cast into the models or on the wheels when they opened the factory in Wales. Have a look at the one I posted in 'rarer tractors' and you will see the similarity, yours may not be any specific model as in the catalogues I have some of the early tractors from Crescent were described as just that, 'tractor', various colours. Hope this helps a tiny bit. Nice find.
allis8550
Looks remarkably like a Minneapolis Moline UTS, especially around the grill and front end.
