JC
How does a Vaderstad carrier fold and unfold, is it fully hydraulic or does it partly rely on gravity same as the vaderstad rollers??
Gav836
Knowing Vaderstad its probably the same as their rollers but having never used one I can't be sure. Pingu is probably the best one to answer this one as he seems to be using one most of the time at work lately
JC
Thats what I was thinking Gav, I've seen loads of pictures of them folded and unfolded and can only see the ram to roll it backward and forward if that makes any sense...... Pingu
Those pictures are bang on but then is vaderstads pictures :D Its alot simpler to unfold a carrier then a rexius, with carrier:- Lower the front roller close to the ground using main folding ram (big ram in the centre) this unlocks the transport locks which are like locks then slowly reverse back this will push the wings round on the wheels, When fully pushed round put the tractor on neutral (but on hills have to touch brakes so tractor doesnt rush forward causing wings to move back round) then operate main folding ram this starts bringin the discs closer to ground remeber tractor has to be in neutral other wise forces involved will break something :D Hope that makes sense i can take pictures of process when we can get back on the ground to disc?
