James T Posted October 15, 2007 Author Posted October 15, 2007 Hi guys, this farm is dairy: they mix silage, barley, supplements, brewing waste hence bucket/grab changeover. Weather was rather crap today for sure! Quote
Deeredriver Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 We used to cut out as much as you was going to use that day with the sheergrab then take it off and use the bucket to load the silage as well as maize and all the other stuff How do you like the jd loader theres a few over here now but they stoped making them now good pics by the way Quote
James T Posted October 16, 2007 Author Posted October 16, 2007 I don't actually work or live on the farm, I'm taking the photographs as part of a project (and part of a hobby too!) The farmer swears by the JD loader. Interestingly, the dairyman told me yesterday that the JD operating the Keenan was the one of the largest around those parts when it was bought new in the early '80's. How times have changed! Quote
nashmach Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Can't beat a Keenan but looks like it could do with a clean off Quote
rich.new holland Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 when my grandad bought a ford 8210 with q cab in 89 (i think it was 89 ) a guy from ford in basildon came down and presented a certificate because we were the first to buy a 8210 in wales Quote
