How make and use your Backdrop

With a model board it would be quite difficult to work on if it was surrounded by a backdrop.A main part of my hobby is taking pics of my farm and posting them on here.This is the best solution that I have found for making your pics that little bit more realistic

Now that first pic is a bit detailed you might think but dont worry you dont have to become a landscape artist over night.My  backdrop allows pics to be taken all over the farm from different angles

What I use is a backdrop that can be moved around.this one measures about 1.3m x 0.6m.The picture I used was bought from a model railway shop and pinned onto a piece of 3 ply.It can be postioned at the edge of the model board and sits on screw heads that have been left a little proud

There is a guy who does them for railways... whole panoramic views of landscapes... will try and find the link. Other than that... a sky blue emulsion sky and sponge-painted trees worked for Holly Farm
