MJB1
yeah nearly all.but sometimes it`s a bit ramshackle \ i use UHU allplast and locite. and here i have some news.made the how ever is it named.we use too say "wurfbegrenzer" . we call them wurfbegrenzer as well thomas :D the translation is throw limiters apart from the use on powerharrows, they're rarely fitted to any cultivation equipment in the uk , unless of course it's for precision work :)

MJB1
Ah like most of the big disc harrows have on them. do they ? not on any of the disc's i've used , .......................tell me more
Deere-est
Yeah nearly all the big ones have some kind of throw limiters, either in the shape of a smaller diameter disc set back from the main gang (Britains Simba), a horizontal fork type thing. Just stops clods being thrown over what you have already broken down.
Light Land
The disc harrow I pull (aussie made) has large parts of the smaller out side disc cut out of it too let only 1/2 the soil past. You can over-lap abit with out making a ridge witch comes in handy when doing the headlands. Light Land
That ridging you got with old disc harrows was one of the main reasons why they went out of fashion in such a big way for a while.Funny how farming has trends.
