Question

What are those things sticking out of the top of the plough in pics 1 and 2    They seem to stick up higher than the rest of the bits :-\

You don't have sort of sub soiler legs on ploughs over there do yo :-\

What an ingenious idea      But I suppose that the soil is quite light arround your way

Would snap them all off on our land   that is if we could pull it to start with

The soil where he was  working on is light. But before ploughing it is also pulled with a subsoiler.

Liking those Internationals a lot there Bas - silage is very light there :D

Most over here would graze it if it was that high :D

For silage it is overhere always this size because for the quality off the grass. When the grass is longer it loses quality and the cows don't give that much milk. The most dairyfarmers can cut there parcels 4 till 6 times each season.
