Deere-est
circa 1970's, Leveret's Farm. The first year we have done chopped silage. We are using a Kidd double chop picking up single rows after a days sun. The clamp for this year is a field clamp because we havn't built ourselves a proper clamp yet. Anyway, as with all jobs a bit of servicing was due. Some new blades on the twin drum mower. With the mower ready to go and hitched up to our nighbours tractor (6600 from Ash Tree Farm) the mowing got under way.
Deere-est
Chopping earnest now. The second hand forager seems to be going well and the drivers are getting used to the pace of the job Putting the empty trailers in the right place is quite important, practice makes perfect.
