Stone and soil Banking

I would love to be able to make myself some banks or soil wals on my farm but at the moment it is all level.

I was in Focus earlier and found these Ceiling Tiles that I think could look like soil banking and with some detailing with grass and bushes would look ace.

Anyway, here are the pics to make your own mind up.

A pac of 5 is about £9.99 so not too bad really.

Oh yeah, they are polystyrene so would cut and shape easily.

I might get some to try so will update here if I do.  ;)

How thick are they then bud?

about 10mm i guess mate, quite thick really. They would shape ok but not sure how you could do the corners?

At the top of the bank and at the bends mate  \ \

Ah ha yes I see now mate. Erm. ... cut into thin strips and work them around gradually, the once glued and fixed sand the edge off where the joins are.

Or get some normal polystyrne packing shape the corner and spray with that stone effect stuff
