CX820Joe
Just been having a look through the 2008 Combine thread on GTP, and it struck me that there don't seem to be any combines with tracks in France; even the Lexion 600 with V1050 still has wheels, although they are massive ones! Is it that tracks aren't available over there, or is the land not as prone to compaction as it is here? If you want to have a browse through, here's the link to the topic, there is 50 pages already! http://forum.aceboard.net/7381-552-41758-0-Topic-Officiel-Moisson-2008.htm
jdc
A lot of nice pics in that lot. Probably because they tend to get relatively dry harvests
Deere-est
It's also a width issue, with tracks you save nearly a metre in width over a big set of tyres and we all know what our old roads are like here in Blighty. Tanks to the luftwaffe most of europe have nice wide and much newer roads than us.
