Drooled over the JCB 3C mk11 - bought it...3D on order...then 3C mk111 comes after that..

The 820 on the trailer is an NZG in 1/35 scale. They are discontinued but can still be found if you are prepared to pay the money.

Ooh now thats a difficult question...at least about an hour a day for four months...so at a guess - give or take a bit - about 100 hours, but it has been one hell of a learning curve....

The stone or brick is large scale for dolls houses, so you need to spend hours and hours trimming them down to size with a pair of sharp pincers, but I think the effect is worth the effort. If a job is worth doing - it is worth doing well. Their products are not cheap so be prepared to spend spend spend....

It wll be a Roadless 90 - but it will take some time due to other projects on the go at the same time..

Thank you Nigel... Your Scale Down kits are great to work with... the hand brake levers off the E27N made excellent levers for the winch.

It seems a long time ago since i ordered them. I will post pictures of the Roadless 90 once it is finished, that I  got the Ploughmaster 6/4 axles for from you that arrived the other day - but don't hold your breath cos it will be a while yet.

The building so far weighs 1.5kg (3lb 4oz), so I would guess at about 2.5kg when the roof is on and fully slated etc.

Another shelf - the Fastracs. Before anybody says anything - I know the 820 overloaded weighing approx. 20 tonnes

Seen plenty of winches in white metal but never seen a Cookes - unless you know otherwise.

Here's one I made earlier - just waiting for the next tractor now!!

Same type of winch - but this time on a Super Major. The chain saws are also scratch built from a few bits I had left over fron the winches

Cookes 2 speed winch on a roadless Super Major which is a Scale Down model tractor kit with scratch built winch, being an accurate copy of a friends tractor and winch 10 miles down the road.

Work in progress so far on my stone built barn come tractor shed...more pics to follow as work continues...slow job as each stone was layed individually, trimmed to size from bigger pieces. Next stage is lighting...

Great picture David Brown 1410 Power. Is it a JCB Loader? and is the Cookes winch an 8 or 10 tonne? Also is it for sale - everything has a price!

Just a taster of my JCB collection - the 3C shelf. More to follow later! Other shelves from my JCB collection will be put on later.

The 3C hold a special place for me because it was the first machine I got to ride in - with the driver - at the tender age of 16.

That first ride has a lot to answer for - many shelves of models and tattoos!
