    Farm Work

I do some work for a local beef/arable farm occaisionally, this weekend i have been doing some rolling for him. I was rolling at an equestrian centre. This was my machine, a beauty, Valtra 8150.
  6. Brilliant shed, the lights make it so realistic. What did you use for the lights? LED's or just small lamps?
  7. Very topical. Some lovely models there. Wouldn't want to meet that rig on icy roads.
  8. That was exactly what i was going to do. I was thinking the SIKU Fendt 718 wheels or Valtra 191
  9. I realise that there has been a discusion over wether the Wiking JD looks like the 6930 Premium that it is badged as or as a a 7530. Depending on which one you think it looks like What needs to be changed to the Wiking one to make it like a 7530. I have a couple of ideas but want to see what you guys come up with, to see if it matches what i would do.
  10. Just got over an ear infection, ;D . But now i've come down with a horrible cold >
  11. I belive the uk release is February, i got my two from Germany.
  12. Two of these beauties arrived today ;D , well chuffed with them, have plans to convert one to 5 furrow.
  13. Some cracking models you've got there, i especially like the maize clamp.
  14. The back wheels are on back to front because i didn't pay much attetion when i was putting it back together, mind i was doing this at about 11 o'clock one night. Yes it will be a PMA hitch and by the sounds of it, it will either go on the one shown in the picture or another 6930 that will stayed badge as a 6930.
  15. Just a simple conversion to the Wiking JD, to make it a bit more like the ones i've seen. I've cut the bottom off the weight and made it removable. Possibly going to put a front linkage on it or i might get another one and rebadge it as a 7530 and put a front link on that instead.
  16. They range from 5 to 7 inches, they are not any tree in particular, put some hob e tac on the tree armatures, then dunked them in different thicknesses of foliage, so the ones on the left were done with thick clumps to look like bushy trees, where as the ones on the right were dunked in thin stuff, to give a differenet effect, so that thay would look like a different type of tree. I did look at the instructions on the back of the packets, but the best way is to experiment and see what looks best. Thank you all for your comments.
  17. Finally got motivated into having a go at some Woodland Scienic trees this afternoon for the farm, what do you guys think?
  18. Fantastic model , decent size bucket as well. Is it built from using different models, or is it scratch built?
  19. Not quite sure as this was the first time i've worked with this contractor. The KTWO spreader that i used did have a slurry door.
  20. It is a Richard Western being towed by a Claas.
  21. Had a little break from electrical work over the last three days, this is what i did instead. Great fun, i was driving a JD 6900 with KTwo spreader, there was a fastrac, a Claas , a Fiat and a converted dustbin lorry. On the loading side there was a JCB Loadall and a JCB JS, not sure on the model number. We were spreading compost on wheat and rape stubble ground. Just a couple of pictures of loading as that was the only time i had chance to take some photos, they are not of the best quality as they were taken on my phone.
  22. Wings Farm/ M.D Contractors have put in an order for one to accompany the Claas Lexion.
  23. Thank you for all your comments, i'm glad you agree a 3m version is more realistic.
  24. Thank you for all your brilliant comments, it makes it worth while.
