I got 6 samples for 3.20 on ebay, but on their site http://www.asgoodasgrass.co.uk its quite pricey.
The first one I showed they call 'Home Plus' and on their website is £30.50 per sq metre. The other one
(3 tone/beige) they call Deseo which is 26.50/sq metre. I didn't ask what was the smallest cut they did.

Okay I liked the variation and 'dead grass' in the next sample, not sure how suitable it is.
"3 Tone Green and Beige":
Opinions please; colour ok, material?

I decided to order some synthetic grass samples from Ebay. Most were about 3cm high and the blades were too thick. I cut two samples to about 2cm (the right height for 1:32 I think). This type is called "Lawn Green":

Have you got a nephew you could send up there with a brush?

My index finger, on my right hand. Missed the handle on the Echo hedgetrimmer when trimming the side of a hedge and caught in the blade which is similar in working to combine cutter bar or sickle bar mower. Luckily I wasn't fully revving but I was awfully close to losing the finger. Tracis Dad is a trained first aider and patched me up a treat but it isn't pretty, nasty slice job.
Ah yes gotta be careful with them reciprocating blades. (When you said nose picking finger I thought it was some sort of back hoe implement, I've been caught out here before )

Bloody townie kids that have nothing better to do with there time than annoy me and throw stones at the tractor, Well if they annoy me tomorrow the police will be on the seen > >
How can you be sure they were townie kids?

After a nice dry morning planting 60 shrubs followed by covering of woodchips, the rain came. Hasn't let up since 11am. .
During the afternoon I stuck my right nose picking finger in the oscilating blades of a hedgetrimmer
Forgive my ignorance tris but what is a nose picking finger?

Pretty impressive to have kept it intact for so long. At 12 I was still gluing tractor cabs down...

Thats more like it. now if you wanted to be really original you could give that major a vintage roll to pull as befitting its size and age
-
It would be even nicer with an older Ford on that roller Rich! Love the little 35x tucked away there.
-
you dont want to go up and down the a140 to many times for us malcy, that road is plain dam horrible to drive, although it does pass some great big clear to see fileds theres hardly anywhere to stop i have always found

This looks like it's going to be relisted after the reserve wasn't met. I thought I'd post a link because you don't see many of these still around.
Anyone up Northants way?

In the Pullen book, the early Renaults are all listed as 145-45, not 145-14 as on the decals.
-
Think it's been done to look like one from the "tracfor" range CBM
eh the orange is showing through on those ones as well
-
I know, it was a nice idea. I have a photo of a white Renault from about 10 years ago and it does look handsome.
I did 40 minutes of research on the forum and elsewhere with no results (even the dutch sites), that should have warned me
-
i would say sadly it s acovo, look arround the steps you can see the orange paint coming through the white topcaot, does look nice in white mind,
Hmm that's what I thought Sean. But I asked the seller if it looked hand painted or not and they thought it was factory finished. I tried to get in a last question with about 2 min to go asking just that, but ran out of time...
