I like the little bits and bobs that Britains do, I also pick these up when i see them, I have trees, boxed vehicle loads, boxed sheep dip, animal pens, 2 x boxed milking parlours, boxed pig arcs, and also boxed the rare farm house and farm yard that you can turn around to make a hay barn and a boxed Riding school. These items complete the collecting experience for me, but I only collect Britains so there is a limited amount to collect.
I have this one too, though it's not a particularly good model by Britains. (I prefer the old hay barn, pine lodge stables and bungalow from the 60s/70s)
Does yours have the same earth-colour roof as shown on the box cover, or is it a cherry red one like mine?

Next up is an unboxed Gate, Stile and Stone wall set with a Wattle Hurdle set
Followed by a few pieces of old lead Flint Wall and from the garden range an old fellow sat on a bench with mower, roller and wheelbarrow.
I have a few of these, have you any idea what catalogue number the are?
I know you can also get interlocking wicker fences that are similar but taller and slot together instead of the hook and loop method of the wattle ones.

Another green one has just sold: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Britains-High-Sided-Tipping-Trailer-9566-In-Box-Vintage_W0QQitemZ290373249118QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN?hash=item439b98285e
Some people really do have far too much money (but possibly not for long )
The bloke told me he was stunned when he received initial offers of £40 (me) and £55 (from a Dutch chap), he had no idea of its value! Then the feeding frenzy of the last 20 seconds of the bid with £180-odd thrown at it he must be delirious

Model-wise, I decided to drill a hole in my Britains trailed forage harvester (the later green one) and fit the original 'tongue' in the spout, it now moves when the wheels rotate

From a newly discovered little antiques shop a few miles away that had a clutch of old Britains, £5 all:
- Crane and mount for breakdown Unimog.
- Green Unimog. I later found the steering column & tipper but no hinge pin/bar to attach it.
- Valmet 805 cab, near mint.
- Grey lwb landrover. Poor shape but I had to rescue it from a leaking roof!
- Old JCB Loadall cab (battered) and skinny driver.
- Crane and mount for breakdown Unimog.

I went to the Dreweate's auctions in Bristol yesterday - bought mainly lead animals and garden to sell on, but I also bought this gorgeous Britains background, a Hugar shelter, an Arco Toys barn and a farmyard (don't know who made it, but hoping Valtra130 aka Peter can help me - he has the largest collection of civilian buildings of anyone I know ) Everything is circa 1940/1950 as far as I know (I'm no expert on farm buildings \ ):
Here's another recently listed on Ebay:

Another 60s animal trailer, this time without the cow but with three of the blue panels intact.
