removal of the wheels is simple  remove tyres it helps

hold both rims in a tight grip and twist and pull 

i been trying that for about the last hour no luck, my fingers feel as if they about to fall off. :'(

any tips on getting the axles off

i have took the deep and dark road to converting a model. but i am a little stuck, i am currently trying to convert a britains marston trailer, into a redrock grain trailer.i have seen the one which fred mitchel has done and it has inspired me. first problem i have is getting the axels off, i have pulled and pulled until i am blue in the face. if anyone could help me on how to get them off, also if anyone nows what paint would be the best for the plastic and the metal.

well i did not buy it but i received it for my 16Th birthday. after all your not 16 everyday. case limited edition 50Th anniversary backhoe.

well for one it was my birthday and i got the ertl limited edition case backhoe

excellent definatley looks well. i think a jake-a-box would look well, i just dont have the patients to even begin to start to create one.
