common machinery is boring, every belarus owner needs a can of green and yellow paint in the toolbox for when they breakdown, that way no one notices
Excellent, very well said ;D Though my toolbox only contains spray grease and tools

Do your other ones have the same wheels as that? As they arn't the usual ones?
-
Not many pics as they all look the same when hedge cutting
Field behind our house again, the one that got sprayed recently by the JD. This a a local contractor guy, does quite a bit of the hedges around this area. After this job was done the field got ploughed with the Massey 6290 (from the silage posts) and a 5 furrow plough....forgive me for not going out in the rain to photograph it, it did sound good though
Nice pics Rain would have been ok

The trailer looks like it needs some SERIOUS work \ and almost certainly would not represent any makes seen here \
-
Thanks all :)
Looking better than before, I hope we don't have to wait another year to see more progress though!!
Hopefully not Doesn't seem like it was a year already though it was \

Hoping to go \

WOW... what a layout Chris...
Some of those shots are simply stunning... for a small scale layout you have achieved some incredible detail buddy.... Better than I ever achieved in 1:32
Is that the Siku Massey 8480 I spy as well
Thanks
Yep thats an 8480
thats great!!!! ;D , i was even contemplating buying a load of 87 scale models the other day as i think i'd have more chance of actually starting a layout sooner at the present time :D
Are there many implements , not found a great deal except plough, baler, trailer and rake??...but that was only on one website
Thanks
Implement wise there isn't much on offer, as you say plough, rake, baler, mower, mcuk spreader, trailers, forage wagon, the rest has to be scratch built... \ Or buy an expensive and hard to actually get Kibri kit \

A few changes since last time I posted any photos, I now have soil in all fields, more hedges, and a few other changes :

Excellent suggestion Belarusfan. Somewhere close to Wiking quality would be fine.
I was reading this topic thinking that I had no opinion since UH fullfill my model quality desires but I wasn't thinking 1/87 scale.
If I had kids, I'd be buying UH for myself and Siku for junior to play with/collect.
Exactly, near Wiking quality would be good

A great topic - seeing the whole cycle from preperation to the final product. Looks good to me. Good luck with the sale price. Same again next year?
Am going to try spring triticale hopefully
why do the belts have twist's in them do they keep them on the wheels?
They are the only 2 (out of about 5) that are twisted, sadly I don't have a photo of the other side
The reason for them is to reverse the motion, so that this engine for example spins clockwise but the dresser needs to be driven anti-clockwise
-
You can buy them without writing; or do you also expect scratch-built models for free?
There are about 14,000 photos on my website which I show for free without writing \
And if anyone is interested in photos from mainland Europe may I suggest;
