  1. Some more pictures of this brochure: http://www.farmphoto.com/thread.aspx?mid=914836 Is not blue , but it is interesting! Great find Niels.
  2. Two new brochures came in today. - County 764, without the text "NEW". Does anyone know if there are equal brochures of the 964 and 1164 also without the text "NEW"? - Turf tractors form the USA. I don't know the definition of "Turf", but it covers the garden, compact, LCG and utility tractors. @ Jack, I will do my homework about the 10 series
  3. What do you think of this brochure : ? I've never seen such a high priced tractor brochure. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390311145998&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.com%3A80%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dp5197.m570.l1313%26_nkw%3D390311145998%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1
  4. Hello Rory, thanks for your comment, do you have any idea how many variations there are? Ronald
  5. Hey Jack, didn't know that you were looking for the 5610 brochure, I have it double for a long time (code 56/06/81/NL). I now have it for sale at Ebay.... OR is it a special version?
  6. Today this rare (I have never seen it before...) Roadless brochure came in. The brochure has 4 pages with very nice pictures of a real beast . Found at Ebay in the USA.
  7. Nice, your brochure collection is growing very well lately, isn't it? Can't wait to see your expected rare brochures, can you tell something more what we can expect
  8. Hello Jack, nice brochures. The headlights of the swedisch 1000 series seem to be on a weird place, were these really positioned like this picture in Sweden?
  9. Received today a brochure of the Howard Trench Digger based on a Ford 5000 industrial unit. A nice Ford conversion I think.
  10. Hello Hajo, nice to see you here too. I see more and more dutch collectors over here.
  11. I already had good contacts with my fellow dutch collectors Wil and Jack (stehos) and they have introduced FTF to me. Is there any choiche of tractors ? To be honest my 1:16 collection is still waiting in their boxes for display, but this summer I'm planning to build a big display cupboard on my loft. My collection starts with the early Fordson's and ends with the latest Ford New Holland tractors and also includes the conversions of County, Roadless and Doe. New Holland has not my interest, neither Ford implements (some exceptions). The reason for my limitation is that I don't have an unlimited budget for my hobby I also finance my collection for a bit by trading in farm toys and brochures at a small scale.
  12. Hello all, my name is Ronald Stapel. I've already posted some messages, but not introduced my self yet to this forum. I'm 34 years old, living in the Netherlands and grown up on a farm. My dad always had Ford tractors and that's the reason that I have the "blue" virus. My dad started collecting Ford brochures in the early eighties and I also got enthousiast. In my youth I played with Britains models and started collecting them later on and UH 1:16. But most of all I'm a fanatic collector of Ford brochures and since 2009 our (together with my dad) collection is published on my website www.stapelopfordson.nl. To find missing brochures I spend a lot of time on Ebay searching for new additions. My nickname on Ebay is "fordfw60", some of you will recognize this Ebay-name . For those how think what means "StapelOpFordson"? "Stapel Op" is a dutch saying, like "mad of" or "crazy about" and of course Stapel is my familyname. So far my introduction, my latest brochures will be posted on this forum.
  13. Mark, maybe you mentioned it before in this subject, but what is documented in these world wide catalogues? All MF equipment that's produced al over the world incl. specs? I have three new additions to my collection this week: - french vineyard tractors 2600, 3600 & 4100 - dutch FORD 8100 - dutch FORD 8100, without the standard blue header.... but original and rare Also found a "Roadless" treasure on Ebay in the USA but not received yet, later more about this one....
  14. I already use a local database to organize my collection and generates webpages for my website. The next step is to publish this database on the web. This webbased database could be generic for more brands than Ford by adding a field "brand". But the first step will be to publish my own Ford database, which generates a dynamic website with search possibilities. After that it should be possible for other collectors to add/upload more brochures (with pictures) and complete the database. But please let me know which fields you want to use! It will cost me some time to finish it....
  15. There are a whole lot of Ford brochures. I'm screening Ebay for many years now for "unknown" Ford tractor brochures. As far as I know there are more than 1300 different Ford(son) tractor brochures (including County, Roadless and Doe), without difference in language, no implements and New Holland. I don't think there are 9000 in total , because there are also postcards which are numbered like brochures with a AD-code. I personally only collect tractor brochures from Fordson until Ford New Holland and conversions. I restrict my collection to brochures written in dutch, french, german and english. I now have 925 different brochures in my collection, and this are my latest three additions. I'm planning to make a database of all Ford farm brochures that were published all over the world, I'm now busy with the technical preparation. @Wil, the second Flexible Farming brochure is this a brochure or a magazine?
  16. This week I added a nice Fordson N brochure from the USA to my collection. I found also a rather rare Perkins L4 conversion manual for the Fordson E27N on a dutch market place for a very nice price. I think I have completed the Perkins Fordson conversion manuals, P6(TA), L4(TA) and the P3(TA) or are there any more versions? @Wil, nice brochures from Jeff Funny to see that his collection has been divided over three dutch collectors (as far as I know)
  17. Hello all, I'm a dutch collector of Ford and related tractor brochures. You can see my entire collection at www.stapelopfordson.nl. I have bought some very interesting brochures from a american collector who stopped collecting, see photos. Among them a few american COUNTY brochures: - FORDSON Super 4, "County" is not mentioned in the brochure - County Super 6 954, blue version instead of the green UK version - County Super 4 & 6 fact sheet I asume that there are many County enthousiasts on this UK forum. I have a question for them, Are there anymore typical american County brochures?
  18. Thanks for your information. I realise now that I bought a very cheap bargain . Unfortunately I don't have the box... I still wonder if the tow hook is complete, because the tow hook is just on one half of the tractor. Is this normal?
  19. I just bought a group of Ford farm toy tractors and among them was a Fordson Dexta. For me this is an unknown tractor, but it looks like a Chad Valley. I know the E27N and New Major of Chad Valley, but I can't find a manufacturer on this tractor. The tractor is about 15 cm long. Can anyone give me an answer to the following questions? - Is this tractor made by Chad Valley? - Are there any parts missing? - Is this a rare model?
  20. Hello, finally my website www.stapelopfordson.nl is also available in English. My website contains information about brochures, books and scale models which are published of Ford, Fordson, County, Roadless, Doe, Ford Versatile and Ford New Holland tractors. The brochure section contains over 750 brochures including some rare old Fordson, County en Doe brochures. Unfortunately I don't have that many scale models, but maybe the brochures will be your inspiration to built a self made scale model. Just enjoy watching!
