don't think many were actual industrials to be fitted to the sprayer versions tim , i've certainly not seen any 5000 versions but i do remember seeing 5600,6600,6610, articulated units with sprayers. theses were typically a contractors fleet machine , all in chaffer colours on exclusive contract to potato groups , to apply liquid fert supplied by chaffer. i don't know haow many of these contractors are still about as most liquid fert is applied during the bedtilling or planting stages now ,. i do know there is an ex-chaffer sprayunit somewhere up around the shepton mallet / wells area , usesd to see it quite often wheni was on the milk a shawnee poole unit ,now that would be a good seller

best of 3 ? massey 699 fendt 612 deutz 6.30 although the county 1184 was good to terrorize other road users , as was the 1174 Fc :D JD 4055 just an awsome tractor , DB's are also nice , especialy the 1210 i once used they seemed to have touch sensitive stearing , just the slightest thought of moveing the wheel & you'd be weaving all over the place to keep it straight :D & of course i cant forget the zetor 14145 , beast of a tractor kitted out with lo-profile mich's & little in the way of brakes , not a great drive , but with no brakes it was certainly an experience doing roadwork

i cant be fussed to post them all , so marky can when i've sent it to him , but you get the jist

maybe not as renegade as you'd think , david brown were instumental in the succsess of ferguson tractors , as you can see from pic 18 on page 1 ,the ferguson brown, the small black plaque at the bottom of the radiator , clearly says , 'built by david brown tractors' . indeed if it were not for DB wanting to fit a 4 speed gearbox to production models , harry ferguson may never have gone to henry ford to have the 'ford tractor with ferguson system' 8N built in such large numbers to make the ferguson system the succsess it is today !
-
thats not what he meant sean \ great to see ford farm for real , so much to look at mark that you don't see on the topic posts , enjoyed that very much , but had to leave early as had an appointment with a lady :P
