  1. wow allis , that looks fantastic , wouldn't be surprised if marky was out trying to sell body parts to get it from you , :) texas, looks like the fronts are from a TIM TOYS set
  2. like that simon, see lots of those about on smaller dairy farms , & quite popular for the smallholdings & equine centers. like that :)
  3. it doesn't matter how much 'tyre' is on show mate as long as the outside circumference is right , they'd be classed as oversized fronts
  4. nice work sean , but the axle reminds me more of a county 7600-four , rather than the ford effort. like it all the same mate :)
  5. all looks well with implements to complement it mate , jobs a good'n :)
  6. you getting stocked up for toytrac gav , , i think you should , as they'm going to go pretty quickly mate :)
  7. in that case it's the wrong bonnet , the bonnet on the 5610 was originally from the TW20 / 7710 , which is the wrong bonnet for the tractors in the poll above
  8. hmmm the loader looks ok but the bucket seriously lets it down
  9. the bonnet in the pic on the previous page comes from a britains 5610 doesnt it ?
  10. like the idea behind your 5000/ 5610 convo mate , but i was wondering , if you thought about loosing the 5610 bonet , as the 5000 bonnet was more like all the tractors you have listed in the poll, only the front cowling need be adapted , that would give a more genuine & authentic look
  11. well done chap , may have to have a go at that for when my 6180 2wd needs replaceing
  12. took the words right out of my mouth well finished , like the grill , best i've seen yet
  13. i do like the look of that , may well be a future investment , ! any idea of price yet ?
  14. havent seent he britains version yet , but yours looks tidy enough mate, decent bucket as well
  15. i know you have , but i daresay , your head says get the yeller feller for all the obvious reasons , but the 240's do crop up every now & again , where as this , may be one of the very few times it comes around it's all money thats the problem , will be interesting to find out how much it'll go for
  16. well it wouldn't hurt waiting till next year for the 240 mate , but i think you should at least try for it
  17. likeing thet quite a quirky looking tractor wern't they
  18. the finished thing is bang on sean , top of the class mate
  19. here you go sean a link to the back issues page on line http://www.classictractormagazine.co.uk/cgi-bin/back_issues.cgi?y=All
  20. nicely done gav , just need to get a pallet of sacks done now
  21. like to see the older kit getting an airing , from years back , & although not fords biggest fan the SQ series 10's were good looking tractors along with the MF600's, deutz 4.70's etc , & the inters & DB's they have a character that captured the time of farming still being an enjoyable job, rideing out the last few years of money still to be made , & drivers willing to take the risk & going out on their own. different today , not much money about , tractors are bigger , so less people to work & pass the day on the cb with, always against the weather, & needing a lottery win to get a half decent tractor to start contracting with, just to get some decent bussiness i'm sure i'm not on my own here as some of you other ex tractor drivers will agree ,these pics seem to capture everything we enjoyed about the job , the good old days ? tell me what was good about them ? it could be bloody hard work ! but like you , i wouldnt change them for the world
  22. so how much would a played with & tarted up original 590 be i have an original 590 , but has bee through various changes & is unfortunately not as original as i'd like it to be , matter of fact the only things that havent been touched is the red bonnet casting & decals \ i think it still has the metal linkage as well
  23. not sure UH are makeing a mess of it sean , it may not be the more common spec that we all know & would like to have UH build . but it was a massey ferguson collection tractor. so in effect it is right . just not what we'd call a collectable version of a world class tractor :(hame really as there are still thousands of original & genuine 135 still working , come to that the coldridge collection has a few 'proper' 135's they could have copied
