  1. will see what i can find in the way of chassis at toytrac mate , but still got the other one that i told you about to finish , may look odd in yer collection but it would be in the right company
  2. dont really know nick , they were 750kgs but maybe the wooden pallets were becoming cost prohibitive ?
  3. no 30C ? may give a couple a try after toy-trac want one ? wwellllllllllllllllllllllll thats not quite true mark , it maybe the primary colour but MF is certainly the marque ohh i'm a tease ..............................................
  4. here's a question for you sue , spiders dont get caught up in their own webs like flys & the like but can other spiders get caught up in each others webs , & approx how long does a web stay sticky ?
  5. well in that case sue , the spiders in my house must be incredibly PC with non stick webs of very inteligent flies as we've had loads of flies , & spiders but none caught in webs
  6. for a long while now i've always used old cassette boxes / Cd cases , the newer cassette boxes are quite soft plastic & is a bit more forgiving than some of the older ones , another material i use is clear lamination sheets , just run a sheet through the laminator & you have a firm clear sheet that can be bent to most angles
  7. hmmm............ interesting topic mark , having looked at the pics & read carefully what's been said i have come to the conclusion that has been what i've always thought is right ............................. stamp on it the only good spider is a dead spider
  8. can see it now mart , nice little 4 furrow conventional plough behind the 698 or even a 3 f rev for ploughing matches , got to buy it mate, £3000 ? nay bother for you
  9. never used to worry about uneven ground or the speed at wich you travelled over it & no more heaving 100cwt sacks about
  10. we even used to knock some of the slats out to use as bucket holders for the calf pens
  11. come the revolution ! well it came & it went \ who here remembers these ? i do, brilliant idea of it's time , & not ony fertilizer but firewood as well ! for years the wooden slats were either chopped for firewood, put on silage clamps or used as little ladders click on pic to enlarge
  12. stunning pictures mate , some classic tractors & a wide variety of machinery thanks for posting them
  13. looks good rick but there is one thing that worries me , i thought your display was for sod cutting (turf cutting), & if thats the mess your tractors get into , i wouldnt like to see the quality of your lawn fields \
  14. if i'd known you were there dan , it'd been good to say hello the wether made it a great day mate lots going on , i found myself all over the field instead of the regimented up one side & back the other !, the ploughing was first class for all , may even buy meself a plough for the 168& have a crack at it , met a few people i know who enter for the day out & really not interested in the compitition at all, got to admit with all that metalwork around the horses are the real stars of the day , beautifull & very elegant to watch them working
  15. why don't you buy the 698 mart you know it makes sence
  16. the later ones might of had , but the one a friend bought certainly didn't the same applied to the JD 4**? round balers were the same
  17. very nice model mark would look the part following an old 29xp dont'cha think
  18. nice model mark & probably a darn site more reliable than the real thing , great in straw awfull for silage, till massey made belt scrapers to fit
  19. ooohhh yer so annoying thomas , another quality conversion no less :)
  20. going great guns there mate , but why the 4 lengths of bar needed for the easysheet ? very rare i've seen trailers with more than 2. sheet fixed on one side to trailer > middle suport bar fixed to trailer or sheet > side bar on side of sheet with straps to tighten with ratchets
  21. nice work thomas , quite strange when you think most things are cut up to make something bigger ,not smaller :)
  22. apart from the auger feeding the same way across the table a bit of paint makes all the difference
