  1. well the box looks great except for one thing , you stained /polished it come on mark in all honesty how many potato boxes at your work are stained or polished ? too dark mate but i'll take 50 more unstained ones , need to be unstained to stamp the farm name on see & also to get dirty with real dirt :)
  2. all seems to be going on with you mike , i take it you're keeping yer cheque book to hand at the moment ! you quite rightly pointed out , more money spent on it means it's still good to you for another year, but there will be a time you'll have to replace it surely, after all she's no dog so will get a good price won't you ? 6610/20 would you be looking at ?
  3. so you need a topic that says 'whats on your other workbench ? ' no ,no, no, don't even answer that . stephen any chance you could show a pic of the emek truck & a newray truck side by side as the emek is a bigger scale isn't it ?. they look pretty good but i thought they were a bit more expensive than the metal new-rays ?
  4. yes lengthening the drawbar of the centaur allowing the big deere to turn :D
  5. i was just about to post the same \
  6. also have to consider that compared to spalding ,toy-trac is a pretty small affair to warrant 2 shows a year it will have to build on it's sucsess, at the moment i think you'd be hard pushed to create 2 shows per year , would be good for one of the spalding shows to be moved to somewhere like oxford though , bit more central
  7. so lets get this in perspective then graham , i'll give it another week till sharon wants the spare room back for important things like .................... shoes so the only way you'll get it moved will be by selling it like frogs hole that leaves you from appox february to start next years entry so whats next ? a grass drying plant ? ;D
  8. errr ............... i think he was talking about the deutz kev good old bus them deutz mate , unfortunately when it's a well worked loader they arnt showing their best all looks well mate i agree with gav those drills are pretty simple things to use , probably why i got on so well with them
  9. we have those here as well Ol, but on a smaller scale , connected to a 3in diameter umbilical hose ,put out on pastureland for dirty water runoff from the slurry lagoons , ideal for the wetter fields, every morning just walk out & go back across the fields with the anchor post & let it wind itself across the field again
  10. here you go chap , made mine from 2in nails & some scrap electrical ducting http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=8033.15
  11. ahh we wern't there all the time colm, thomas came & went throughout the day, mostly went along with my money :D & sean, mark & i sort of drifted back & forth to keep an eye on things

    At work with Gav

all looks good going there gav , my 64 was on 14in tyres all year round due to also growing cabbage, carrots, onions & marrows , if you have to wait for a trailer do you bother windrowing ?
  13. certainly got it all going on round your way erik , brilliant pics thanks for posting
  14. the two displays side by side did each other justice, the old & awkward of tris'yard compared to the new & modern of jez' yard.there was nothing there that looked out of place & it was bang on what you'd see going on at any farm around the country , the detail was fantastic , well done lads simply outstanding although i still think you should of had taken up my offer of the 8280 jez
  15. the layout just like last year was fantastic , it's one of those displays that every time you walk past you spot something else you didn't see first time round worries me graham just what you're going to follow these past 2 years displays with fantastic to meet you both again again loving the lucy pinder poster in the workshop graham
  16. there were a few about but like adam said mine didn't come out of the box , matter of fact tris bought it along a bit later in the day which is probably why it's not in marky's pics .
  17. really ? i was thinking about an amazone centaur, or the lemken gigant :)
  18. no, no ,no the 7610 bonnet is completely different to the 7710/5610 so forget about fitting a repro 7710 bonnet to the 5000 as you wont need it as for gen 2 7710 decals get tm810 to get them from henri walker for you
  19. really ? could be missing out on a great financial goodwill oppertunity here mate you knock 'em up , send to me , i'll stamp 'em to the buyers want & ship 'em straight off split each way thats about £15 per box so with all cost covered we make £7 per box each, min order is 50 boxes sorted ! darn we'll make more money than that new tractor of yours :D
  20. the 7710 was originally a TW20 6cyl then went 7710 4 cyl then to a 5610 4 cyl, which was a really bizzare model choice the bonnet shape to the 700 series fords was a complately different design to the 600series fords if you want to try something different mate , keep the SQ floorpan & cab & get some 7710 gen2 decals ,quite possibly how britains should have badged it instead of a 5610
