  1. got a horrible feeling ben the farm it belongs to is surrounded by another farm with only private access to it , as there's a few lanes here with no through road & private drive signs up
  2. the trouble with all that speed mart is that you spend less time enjoying it
  3. nice harvester colm , there's one local to me , keep seeing it harvesting from the motorway , but yet to figure out how to get near it what makes it worse is that it cant be more than a mile away from my house
  4. more than anything i'm waiting to see how you glaze the cab , as i have the ford & fiat waiting for something do be done with them , may have to get the NH version as well at some time
  5. yeah a 785 i think colm , early one as well, still had the early decals & inter front grill yes the digger is a IH260 i think
  6. wasn't smish looking for the same criteria in a tractor a while back ? btu had a bit of trouble locating a decent 7810 or 390 at sensible money .well the tractors i'd opt for would be massey 3085 /3095 ? C-IH 956 / 1056 ? JD 3050 / 6610 ? Fiat winner 110 / 140 ? ford/nh 7740 / 7840 ? although i'm a MF man , i'd go for the C-IH 956 /1056, all mechanical & bullet proof
  7. yes mate it's a 1594 on a D plate , 85/86ish ? quite tidy all over , bit of polish would bring her up a treat really
  8. got to admit i'm struggling to think of a make of tankers whose colours are red oxide tell you what mate , get a bit of dirt on it & it'll look like the decals have worn off & the paintwork has faded , will look a treat shoved in the corner of a yard with stingers growing around it
  9. & my lorry went in for MOT this week so had this to play with always liked driving the XF & would be great to have one all the time , but not really suited to the job , so will have the volvo back later on in the week, but driving the big white XF made it feel like i was one of the nolans ! thats the haulage company ,not the sisters \ *oohhhh i'm in the mood for dancin....................*
  10. 7 pipes & then had to tie the pipe with baler twine ! this really isn't on nowadays but it still happens , the instructions on the delivery ticket says to blow cake evenly, tough , i tie the pie up & let it go, i'm not standing up there in all that dust, & judging by the speed the workers left the yard when i turned up neither were they
  11. but what really annoys me is that most farmers will spend thousands on new machinery & treat it badly , but when ask for £50 to be spent on a coulple of peices of pipe for the dairy , it's a major expence that might just bankrupt them
  12. check out the new tyres on the massey ££££££
  13. oops forgot these , a few from a farm in cardigan from last week !
  14. no probs Ol got to take the rough with the smooth colm went & collected some stuff from a small holding but felt more like a hippy comune , really nice people, with a tidy little farm ,he's trying to get on in the world of unusual breeds thing & has about 20 bison & 30 elk , really nice to be able to walk amongst them , unfortunately i forgot me camera but the day before when we went i had it & snapped off a few tractors he had about the place
  15. apart from one i've seen with the type of cab shown above the usual 275's i've seen have had the duncan cab fitted , chap where i used to live always split the cab to get right up in the eves for silage
  16. looks bl00dy huge when yer knelt down to take the pic mate
  17. i did ask that Ol , but driver said , once the pit fills , the rest of the grain just spreads itself across the yard , so they only open the tailboard once it stops coming out the hatch
  18. still on the ball tim ! good to see marky milkybar kid always waving
  19. thats the place , as for the pet hate ? , the number plate with the drivers name on
  20. next day on the way past the yard i saw one of jez's gang delivering some new shiney stuff
