1/64 scale MF 2775
Wstarcummins replied to Wstarcummins's topic in Latest Tractor Conversions & Scratch Builds
never heard of that term before so cant help ya out much \ I might make a 2805.....Im not sure yet though. Sean -
I have been working on this tractor for quite some time now. Started its life as a old 1970's Ertl MF 2775. I tore it apart, stripped the paint, primed it, then painted it. I will probably change the rear tires again. Going on it will be a more detailed front weights, 3 pt hitch, antenna, window glass, mirrors, handles, air cleaner, and exhaust stack. I still need to get decals made for it. When I started. Parts painted. Now, still need to work on painting the wheels, the tires scraped some paint off when I put them on, I might get different wheels/tires also though. Who knows Sean

I decided to post some equipment here from the states. Deerfield Farms, HUGE operation for my area, this is a new grain elevator for em. Sean
-
Good pictures 5 combines working in the smae field here in the states (specailly on the plains) is very un common. We have harvest crews that bring in combines on trucks and harvest and go back home. The trucks they haul the combines on are usually truck/grain hopper (trailer)/combine trailer with a combine on it then a pickup truck hauling headers. Its a sight to see though! Sean

Hey everyone, started on the soybean field tonight. First off, added the grass, eventually it will be mostly all tall grass/brush when it is all done. Then, add the dirt, simple, just put it on and spread it out, ha ha!! Then, for a "weed" affect, I mixed some foam grass with dirt and spread it on the field........ I dont yet have the stuff Im usin for soybeans yet, But I hope I will have it soon.

Can we still mention bad sellers on this board?
Wstarcummins replied to ihatepoundland's topic in Ebay
This seems like damaged items and the seller not caring is getting more pupular lately \ The last ting I sent, wich was a custom model truck was damaged.......I came to the conclusion that my packing wasnt the best, the mail was alittle rough with it, and the glue that held the frame together weakened anough that the frame snapped. The person who I was trading it with wasnt very nice about it \ But I offered to have him send it back and I would fix the damages and try to pack it better and ship it back to him with the cost it took for him to ship it back to me. But he decided that he would fix it himself. Lucky I have never got anything broke myself! Sean -
what will be your next purchase?
Wstarcummins replied to Fendt Fahrer's topic in General Hobby Discussion
Next purchase will be some Standi 1/64 scale grain bins for my layout Tractor wise, my next big purchases will be the new Ertl Prestage Ford FW60 and Steiger 4wd in 1/16 scale Sean -
Some directions on how to take the front axle out of the 6410. 1-take cab roof off using a smaller flathead screwdriver, take your time. 2-Take out the rear wheels. 3-use a drill and drill out all the rivets that holds the 2 castings together. After all the rivets are drilled of the 2 castings, the 2 castings will come apart and the front axle should come apart also........ Sean

Scratch Built interiors: What material do you use??
Wstarcummins replied to Wstarcummins's question in Custom Model Methods/Tips/Help
I use Steyrene plastic for most of my builds...........sounds like that it is hard to use plastic for the inteiors for 1/64 scale......... Sean -
More, these are of my layout.......my seed house with 2 loading docks and a garage door. I have a DCP KW W900L and Ertl Pete 387 hooked up to 53' trailers. The farm will have their own trucks to haul seed and what not, they will be US COEs w. modern US 40' reefer. Machine shed in place with the floor painted flat dark gray. Sean
