Thanks pat .the green rw is from three oaks farm models. The Massey is good,driver likes it,pulls well,thinking of having a tractor sake up in the autumn.i use to run a MF 2680 way back.good tractor. -

sat in our contractors brand new fendt 722 with jd front mower and claas butterfly mowers on back.last nite on way home saw jd 6170r on jd front and back mowers.contractors got a fendt 818 on loader both on a 3 yr hire 10 grand cheaper than simlar jds. just one jd left in there fleet,been all jd for a long time. -

Was great in laid wheat,barley,oats.just the stripped straw was a pain,had to top it,then plough with out the skimmers on,at bit of a messy lookin feild afther.could get a lot done in a day.wish we could still burn here.

srewed inti thanks pat,ten 4 on a clean 4 her.was a pain to fit,used a big screw,into were the hole was for the old siku linkage and some super glue,rams are a bit painted up so don,t drop. -

silage pics.round bale silage,wrapping,stacking on trailer,verge cutting and tractor off topping around every arable field we work on,i like to leave a 3m strip closest to the crop of grass and top now and in the late autumn.chopping going well,though pin on one side of rw hs 14 trailer on the tipping pivot sheared to day,spare trailer put on,fix it nxt wk.1300 acres left of 1st cut to do.done 3 full days of silage this week,rain keeps on stop,start affair,least we are not in texas,19.4 inches of rain fell today,more forcast. -

Well we applied for planning permission 4 a plant last autumn.we got a decision on pre-planning application.highways are ok with it,just Got to build a higher soil screen around the site.got a e mail from the ad company today.saying the due to the government cutting back On subsidies for renewable energy.the ad plant will be put on the back burner for the time being.the energy company have said they will lobby the government on restoring higher subsidies. -

Thanks Alex,and maximus. Well we've had a very busy time lately.some 1800 acres of silage have been cut and chopped. Since 2nd may.2500 acres of maize are in now.600 acres left to plant.today we sprayed 1100 acres of wheat with a t 2 fungicide.slurry going on silage aftermaths.ferti on grass.42nd cut.2tractors are out on verge cuttin now. -
Ten 4 on the sprayer.cracking machines and excellent back up.

a very busy week last wk.1300 acres of early cut grass has been finished,mown, chopped and clamped.we also started drilling maize in hampshire,on the 17th april.900 acres are in. with 500acres having a pre emergence spray so far.muck,slurry has gone on 800acres so far and 480 acres of ploughing on the early cut grass stubbles. we also sprayed the 1700 acres of rape with a mid flowering fungicide.we hope to start the main silage this wk . we also got our t1 spray on our wheats the wk of the 14th april.trying out a new mini bowser,pics soon.
